WELCOME TO WINDOWPAINSANDTEARSTAINS.COM

I have been on this journey with my teen sweetheart since I was 15, that’s roughly 37 years. We have been married 31. My husband, Darran, owns his own business, Arnold’s Auto Body and I retired from being a teacher in 2018, after 25 years. Our greatest blessings include our 26-year-old son, Jacob, who primarily runs the business now, our 20-year-old daughter, Lexie, our daughter-in-law, Kalee, and our precious grandchildren Hudson, 3, and Hallie, 1. We also have a black, spoiled and temperamental, Persian cat, named Spooky. Sometimes we call him Kitty Boy and/or Wooka. When he gets mean, bossy, and attacks us like a black panther instead of a descendant of, we call him other names…

My personal interests include: all things grandkids, reading, writing/journaling, bible lessons, learning, log cabins, treehouses, condos, hot air balloons, sunrise/sunsets, clouds, trees, fall leaves, cats, all kinds of music, crime investigation shows, love stories like The Notebook, and peanut butter. If I had to choose only one thing to live on, it would most likely be peanut butter. PB Fanatic!

This is a place to connect the pages of our lives. I am excited to relate with you on various levels and phases of this journey we call life. Why Window Panes and Tear Stains? I have learned that life is a combination of looking out the window of hope and experiencing the tears of frustration and trials when sometimes you cannot see clearly out of the windowpane. My life, like yours, has and continues to contain both.

The following are a few of the many pages and chapters of my personal journey that you may relate to being a child, teen, adult, daughter, sister, aunt, mom, wife, mother, mother-in-law, friend, teacher, success/failure (better known as a learner), happy/sad, hopeful/scared; along with every other emotion in between. Most importantly, I’m a Jesus loving~ work in progress. These are but a few of the many facets of the roller coaster of emotions and life experiences I hope to connect with you on.

Please join me! You might find a place here. I am hopeful you will but if not, you aren’t required to stay. So, visit or move in. I’ve been waiting long enough to begin, and I really want to share space and my heart’s journey with you.
